Location: Camps in Auli are located at a distance of 500 km from Delhi, 300 km from Haridwar and Dehradun and 275 km from Rishikesh.
Connectivity: There is a good connectivity of transportation between Delhi – Haridwar – Rishikesh – Dehradun through air/road/rail.

NEW YEAR CELEBERATION AT AULI WITH OVERNIGHT CAMPING AND BBQ & CAMPFIRE

Day 1 - Arrive at Camp. Dinner & Camp fire. Bonfire and BBQ.

Day 2 - 3 km trek to Gorson, back to camp The snow capped slopes of Auli are flanked but stately coniferous and Oakl forests which Cut wind velocity to minimum Auli( Gorson ) offers a 360 degrees panoramic view of World famous Himalayan peaks like Nanda Devi(7817m), Kamet(7756m) Mana (7273m), Doonagiri(7066m), & many more, these seemingly only snowball's throw away.

In summers, when the snow gives way to carpets of grass and flowers, hikers and trekkers will find numerous marked walks and mountain bike trails. The forest is richly inhabited by rare Himalayan wildlife including the snow leopard, musk deer, wild boar, wild cats, rabbits, jackals, foxes, hyena and black bear. Summers are extremely pleasant and the deodar and oak trees add to the fragrant air to promote natural health, which is strongly recommended by Physicians/ Naturopaths/ Therapists.

Himalayan Snow Winter Kuaripass Treks

We are offering Kuaripass North Face Winter Trek from December second week till January First week. This is one of the best Himalayan Winter Treks in India.

The Kuari Pass is approached through a narrow goat track at an elevation of 4150 mts. in the heart of Chamoli District. The glorious view of the imposing eastern peaks of the Garhwal Himalayas is unforgettably enchanting. If the weather is clear then the peaks visible from Kuari Pass are Nanda Devi, Dunagiri, Bethartoli, Devarthan, etc. Since Lord Curzon once trekked up to Kuari Pass, the trail is known as Curzon trail.

Day 1 : Joshimath to Gorson (3200m) to Tali. 3300m
Post breakfast drive 14kms to Auli. From Auli one gets to see a distinct profile of Nanda Devi at the head of the sanctuary. The walk takes one through the forests of oak and rhododendron to reach meadows of Gorson. The trail climbs diagnolly up on the Gorson Bugyal and then descends steepily down to the forest. We camp a little ahead of a small water body at Tali. Overnight Camp.

Day 2 : Tali to Khulara (3395m) via the Kuari Pass 5-6 hrs
Today the trail ascends the ridge above Tali and cairns marks our track. Just below the pass, the trail leads through a large meadow affording spectacular views of the Himalayas. North of Joshimath is the Chaukhamba range, Nilkanth (6596m) and Narayan Parbat (5965m), while Mana peak (7272m),Kamet (7756m) and Abi Gamin (7355m) extend to the Tibetan border. In the middle foreground, the main Himalayan chain in the vicinity of the Bhyundar valley and Hem Kund includes Nilgiri Parbat (6474m), Rataban (6166m), Ghori Parbat (6708m) and Hathi Parbat (6727m). Dunagairi (7066m) dominates the peaks to the north of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary. The Kuari pass (3840m) is by no means demanding – we have our lunch here and then descent an hour to the base camp at Khulara.

Day 3 : Trek Back to Tali 3-4 hrs
Wake up early to be up on the summit to see the sunrise on wide Himalayan panorama. Loads of photo opportunity ! Trek back to Camp at Tali.

Day 4 :: Tali – Tapovan (1905m) 4-5 hrs and drive to Joshimath (1890m)
The last day of the climb is all the way down to the Tapovan. It’s about 3 hours drive from here to theJoshimath.
